Final greetings from Brazil!

This is probably our last letter from here this term. It’s hard to believe it’s been four years, but it’s true. When you see our family and we see yours I’m afraid we’ll all feel old. You won’t even recognize William and Dalton - especially since you’ve never seen them. We look forward to seeing familiar faces in familiar places. Seeing Wal-Mart and Mountain Dew won’t be bad either.

But all that is a long time away if measured by work remaining and very soon on the calendar. June 12th we fly out of the new Fortaleza airport (which I don’t even know how to find yet) and land in Roanoke Va. Between now and then we need to finish packing -- OK, Michele needs to finish; I need to start! -- the building needs to be finished, plans for inauguration / recognition service on May 2 made, documents, church constitution, a baptism, find a pastor / missionary, find a place to store our stuff, year end school events, etc. Then to top it off we get in an aluminum can at 30,000 ft with a 2 yr. old and "sit" for 10 hours. Hurry up Scotty and fix those transporters...

We’ve received few "requests" for meetings with churches and individuals. We want to see you, but need to schedule carefully and soon because the time is short. We can be reached at:

Praise the Lord we do have a place to stay. We’ll be in the same mission house in Winston-Salem after collecting a few possessions and seeing relatives.
